Beautiful Three Weight,, Transitional style Vienna Regulator.

See Description and pictures below:

Item #B0154

Beautiful Transitional style Vienna regulator in Walnut veneer case with beautiful carved accents. This ca. 1875-1885 Vienna regulator is of classic design and proportions with a beautiful carved crest. It has a three weight, week running, Grand Sonnerie movement that strikes on the 1/4 hours. The signed porcelain dial measures about 7 inches and has a spun brass bezel. The clock is signed Ludw. Wirth, Wien (Vienna), and is in very good running condition. Ludwick Wirth is listed in the book "Viennese Clockmakers and What They Left Us" by Claterbois. The clock measures approximately 44 inches long by 15 inches wide at it's widest point.

Caveats: The top carving is a very proper hand crafted replacement.

This clock is really terrific , and would be a wonderful addition to your collection.
