Beautiful 3 weight Second Baroque Vienna Regulator. A rare Austrian made, signed dial, Second Baroque style Vienna Regulator with plain brass weights, and pendulum bob . This ca. 1885-1895 Vienna regulator is of classic design and proportions with beautiful carvings. This clock strikes on a coiled gong every 15 minutes in a Grand Sonnerie striking sequense. The signed porcelain dial measures about 7 inches and has a spun brass bezel. The clock is signed Anton Hawelk, Wien (Vienna) who is listed in the various books about Viennese clockmakers. The movement has recently been completely overhauled and is in completely refurnished condition. The clock case as well has been completely restored and is in "Like Original" condition. The wood is Mahogany or maybe Walnut. It measures approximately 40 inches long by 16 inches wide at it's widest point. The pictures tell the story, just look below!
