Early Biedermeier Clock 3rd Quarter 19th Century
This Early Biedermeier clock has a running duration of 8 days and is in excellent working condition.
The slim and elegant case is veneered Rosewood with maple banding, and scalloped edges surrounding the dial.
Features include:
Porcelain dial with minor damage around winding hole and hairline cracks and brass piecrust bezel
functioning side clasp
nice cast composition crest and tailpiece
brass wall levelers
double sided brass pendulum bob
The movement with snap-in bracket is clean and is original to the case and running reliably and keeping
excellent time. Although over 150 years old this clock is in superb condition.

Dial: 7 1/4 inch with piecrust bezel
A clock like this is quite rare!
