Item # J015: BEAUTIFUL SPRING DRIVEN VIENNA WALL CLOCK Price now $550 + S&H
Here's a chance to own one of the most beautiful German spring-driven vienna wall clocks you may ever see! It's an impressively large 46 inches tall from top of top finial to bottom of bottom finial, about 16 inches at its widest, runs well for eight days on a wind and counts hours while striking once at the half hour. Porcelain dial. The movement seems original, and markings engraved indicate the clock is by Carl Warner. Note the beautiful, ornate pendulum rod with star. Attractive rosewood-looking finish. This clock should have a high WAF.
Clock priced at $550 plus packing and shipping with payment by bank money order or postal money order to addresses in continental USA only, and sales to actual buyer only, please.
Please note: Any clock may need adjustment after shipping.
Item # J017: GERMAN RA REGULAOTR
Price $400 + S&H
Offered for sale is this clearly above-average "RA" German spring-wound vienna circa 1880 with approximately a 14 day running duration, counting the hours and striking once at the half.
Notice the elegant profile of this 37-inch tall clock in a very attractive two-tone walnut-veneer wooden case with black trim. It is accented by great carving and extremely pretty finials. Width is just over 13 inches.
Bottom line is that this is in my opinion more than a "garden variety" RA clock, in a wonderful two-tone case, has a marked movement and has run well for me.
This delicately-detailed clock is offered for $400 plus packing and shipping with payment by bank money order or postal money order to addresses in continental USA only, and sales to actual buyer only, please.
Note that this sale price is less than I paid for this clock five years ago.
Also suggested would be cleaning and adjustment of the movement as routine maintenance.
Item #J014: ATTRACTIVE RA VIENNA REGULATOR
Price $350 USD +S&H.
I really have enjoyed it, but I'm offering this nice Gustav Becker R.A. which I bought a number of years ago from a serious vienna clock collector. It's about 38 inches tall, runs around two weeks, has a fancy gridiron pendulum, and strikes counting the hour and once on the half on a chime rod! Most everybody craves a chime rod! Look at the stunning top and the unusual application of the "Diana's head" on the tailpiece.
This dial looks so good, with the GB insignia, and everything looks so fresh, that sometimes I suspect it might be a newer replacement, but then again it just might be the "real McCoy" in excellent condition. I would imagine the dial is porcelain but I'm not sure. Sometimes newer ones are made of a plasticized material.
The clock at present runs but not for too long and should be "tinkered with" for a better sound on the chime rod and for time keeping- it runs fast! It may just need a cleaning but I decided to sell as is and substantially reduced the price. If you can be satisfied with a spring-driven "RA" then my opinion is that this one is definitely above entry-level. Your spouse should also approve of this beautiful clock for its graceful decorator quality. I wouldn't be selling it except that I am reducing my clock collection.
Please note that the price does not include packing and shipping which are extra, a bank money order in US funds is requested and delivery will be to street addresses in the continental USA only.
It is better for you and for me that you, the person buying, should be the same person to own the clock, as I am not selling on third-party approval. If you are surprising someone with a gift, you should know their taste.
Payment by bank cashier's check or money order and
